on a summer's afternoon
wishing I could somehow spark
a consciously attuned

state of mind in which to find
wonder... feeling bliss
quickly slipping out of time
away from all of this

breathing in and breathing out
together with the trees
on the mountains hereabout
rhythmically at ease

sunlight bouncing off the ground
cosmically entwined
music gone, the only sound
a gentle breeze which finds

itself in the afternoon
on this summer's day
with me as I am attuned
in this simple way
